Lynn you make me chuckle and think of my “muse” so much more playfully. That all by itself helps me to step over my clutter and giggle my way right back to my desk and another great article!

How true Cassie. Some of our muses hate clutter. That is one of the reasons why I also clean up a lot before starting NaNoWriMo.

Having an assistant sounds like heaven. I hope we both have one before too much longer.

Interesting take on the muse, Lynn.

The best thing I can do to keep my muse content and by my side is to clear the clutter. My muse obviously dislikes my messes and my piles. It’s distracting to both of us.

Unfortunately, this is an ongoing battle for me. When I can afford it, I plan to hire an assistant. In the meantime, it’s up to me to keep the pathways clear.
