If you’ve been following this blog, you know I’m a big fan of Twitter. It’s a great place to start blogging if you haven’t already. There’s magic in 140 characters.
Twitter is a great tool for social networking. It allows you to have peeks into other lives and businesses. It allows others to have a peek at your business.
There are lots of ways that you can use Twitter. You can run an application on your desktop or tweet from your cell phone. One of my favorite is ping.fm. It posts your updates to many of the social network web sites.
I’ve heard that now Twitter has more clicks than Facebook. Blog post take around 30 minutes to create. It takes about a minute to create a Tweet (a post on Twitter).
Up until now the biggest problem has been finding people who are using Twitter, if you don’t know their user name. Now there’s a new tool that solves that problem.
Twellow is a directory for Twitter. It lets you find others in your business or niche. It also has some other benefits.
- Find people by category
- Find lots of new blogs and web sites
- Post an extended profile
You can find search by category and find people in the same business.
You will find other web sites and blogs that you didn’t know about before. You can form business alliances and partnerships. Set a timer, so you still have time to devote to your own business.
Twellow let you post an extended profile. You can put in links to your other social networking web sites.
Go set up your profile on Twellow and connect with others in your niche.

I’ve found Twellow quite useful. Of course, I’m addicted to Twitter.
Twitter makes a great introduction to blogging for folks who are afraid to get their feet wet.
